GifCities: a vintage geocities gif archive/search engine hosted by the internet archive. requires specific search terms to find what you're looking for, but very useful!

RV's free Javascript/DHTML effects: collection of cool free visual effects code to use on your site
FOOL LOVERS: japanese sozai (material) site with tons of free pixel icons for your site!
ichigo directory: cinni.net's directory for finding cute site materials, pixel art and other goodies!
Pixabay: public domain stock image site with both vector art and photos. search function can be a bit difficult! has genAI content but can be filtered out.
